AskJed.ai is a product operated by Zingerlabs Private Limited (CIN: U72900KA2016PTC093725), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 36/A, 1st Main, ST BED, Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka 560034, India.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AskJed.ai ("JED", "we", "us", or "our"), including our AI-powered enquiry assistant, web platform, and associated services. By accessing or using JED, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using JED on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
JED provides an AI-powered lead qualification assistant that businesses ("Studios") can deploy across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. JED engages with inbound enquiries on behalf of the Studio, collects relevant information, and notifies the Studio when a lead meets their qualification criteria.
JED is a business tool. It is not a human agent. While JED is designed to engage naturally, it operates autonomously using artificial intelligence and does not guarantee any specific business outcome.
To use JED as a Studio, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when setting up your Studio profile. JED's performance is directly influenced by the quality of the information you provide.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent activity, or whose continued operation poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of JED complies with all laws applicable to your business and jurisdiction, including consumer protection laws, data protection regulations, and any messaging platform terms of service.
As a Studio, you are responsible for:
JED is powered by large language model (LLM) technology. We carefully select AI models based on their accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness for customer-facing business conversations, and we implement controls designed to minimise hallucinations and off-topic responses. However, no AI system is perfect.
What this means for studios: While we work to ensure JED performs accurately and appropriately, we cannot guarantee that all responses will be error-free, complete, or perfectly suited to every situation. JED may occasionally misinterpret a client's message, provide an imprecise answer, or handle an edge case imperfectly. These errors are typically minor and self-correcting across the conversation, but they can occur.
Your oversight rights and responsibilities: All conversations handled by JED are available to you in real time through your JED dashboard. You also retain direct access to your connected messaging channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger) and can intervene, take over a conversation, or respond directly at any time. We encourage studios to monitor conversations during early use and to step in whenever a human touch is more appropriate. JED is a tool to support your team — not to replace their judgement.
Commitment limitation: JED is configured to defer to your team for pricing, availability, legal questions, and anything outside its defined scope. JED will not make commitments on your behalf beyond what your studio profile instructs. You remain solely responsible for any commitments made as a result of JED-generated communications, and for ensuring that your clients are aware they may be interacting with an AI assistant where required by applicable law.
Ongoing improvement: We continuously monitor AI model performance and update our systems to improve accuracy and reduce errors. Studios can also improve JED's performance over time by adding to their knowledge base, refining their brand profile, and providing feedback through the dashboard. No AI is static — the more context JED has about your business, the better it performs.
JED and all associated software, designs, and content are the property of AskJed.ai. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in JED beyond the limited licence to use the service as described.
You retain ownership of the content you provide to configure your Studio (studio descriptions, FAQs, brand voice settings, etc.). By providing this content, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely to operate and improve the service.
JED operates through third-party messaging platforms including Meta's WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms and policies. JED is not affiliated with Meta and cannot guarantee the continued availability of any third-party integration.
We aim to provide JED reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. Where possible, we will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Your continued use of JED after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JED and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
JED is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that JED will meet your specific business requirements or that any particular lead outcome will result from its use.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your Studio configuration and conversation data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law or platform policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
